Inaugural Bulldog Block Party at Biltmore Park Town Square a Huge Success

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The inaugural Bulldog Block Party at Biltmore Park Town Square on Saturday, June 30, was a huge success.Â
The Bulldog Block Party at Biltmore Park Town Square on Saturday, June 30, ran from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and was completely FREE.Â
The event was located near the Regal Biltmore Park Grande Stadium 15 & RPX Movie Theatre and in Cecil Park, which is the green space area near Hickory Tavern and Brixx Wood Fired Pizza.
The special morning filled with fun featured a meet and greet with UNC Asheville coaches along with Rocky the Bulldog.Â
In addition, UNC Asheville men's and women's basketball head coaches Mike Morrell and Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick and many of their student-athletes interacted with all of those in attendance.Â
UNC Asheville soccer also took part in the special event. Â
In addition, there were giveaways and tables from Clean Juice, Club Pilates, Ideal Image, Mosaic, Regal Cinemas, REI and Zaniac.
There were also door prizes from Inspired Change Yoga, Spice & Tea Merchants, The Sweet Escape and Travinia.Â
Plus, Blackbeard Balloons was there doing balloon art for the kids over the course of the entire event.
UNC Asheville also gave away two All-Sport Passes at the Bulldog Block Party. The All-Sport Passes gave the winners access to all UNC Asheville baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer and volleyball games during the 2018-19 athletic year.Â
