Fitzgerald and Webb Named to Big South All-Tournament Team

LYNCHBURG, Va. – UNC Asheville women's basketball senior standouts Bronaza Fitzgerald and Khaila Webb were both named to the 2018 Big South Women's Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team.
Webb closed out the tournament averaging 16 points per game, while Fitzgerald averaged 10.3 points and nine rebounds per game.
Both had signature games in the semifinal win over Radford with Webb going 9-of-12 from the field en route to 22 points in the victory over the Highlanders.
Fitzgerald closed out the win over the Highlanders with 13 rebounds and 11 points.
UNC Asheville's bid for a third consecutive Big South Tournament title fell just short in a 60-42 loss to top-seeded Liberty on Sunday, March 11, at the Vines Center.
