UNC Asheville Wins Fundraising Awards for Bulldog Challenge and #AllinforAsheville

UNC Asheville's Office of Advancement earned an award of excellence for the Bulldog Challenge and special merit for #AllinforAsheville, two campaigns completed in 2017 raising a total of $162,664.
The awards were presented Feb. 13 in Atlanta at the annual conference of the southeast region of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), an organization with more than 81,000 members representing 3,670 schools, including many of the largest and most prestigious in the region. Judges selected from more than 900 award submissions.
The summer campaign of #AllinforAsheville raised $56,664 in just 15 days of June 2017, with 508 donors supporting student scholarships, undergraduate research and athletics.
The Bulldog Challenge, UNC Asheville's annual March campaign for athletes and alumni-athletes, raised a total of $106,000 in 2017, which was 265 percent above its goal of $40,000. In 2018, the bar has been raised to $125,000, and the challenge begins again March 1.
