UNC Asheville Women’s Basketball Reveals 2018-19 Radio Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville women's basketball in conjunction with the Asheville Radio Group and WISE Sports Radio officially released its 2018-19 radio schedule on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018.
Twenty of the women's basketball games (13 at home and seven on the road) will carried on the radio on REWIND 100.3. The radio calls can also be streamed over the internet via the official REWIND 100.3 website.

"The Asheville Radio Group and WISE Sports Radio are proud to present another exciting season of UNC Asheville Bulldog women's basketball on REWIND 100.3," said Operations Manager Neal Sharpe. "Our relationship with Head Coach Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick and UNC Asheville has grown along with the success of the women's basketball program. Coach Mock's regular visits to the WISE Guys afternoon show, and all of the Bulldog play-by-play action heard each season on REWIND 100.3 make this an outstanding partnership."
Coach Mock, who is entering her seventh year at the helm, is excited about extending UNC Asheville's partnership with the Asheville Radio Group.
"We are happy to be working with Asheville Radio Group for the third consecutive season," said Mock. "We love it when Bulldog fans can get to the games in person, but it's always good to know you can get the play-by-play for Asheville women's basketball on 100.3 The Rewind when you can't make it to the arena.
"We are also excited to have long time UNC Asheville Associate Athletic Director Mike Gore as the voice of our team for another season. Mike's passion and knowledge of our team and the game in general make the listening experience exciting!"
UNC Asheville women's basketball is only days away from commencing its 2018-19 season, as it opens the season on the road at Charlotte on Nov. 8. After a trip to Knoxville, Tenn. to play the Lady Vols on Nov. 14, the Bulldogs open their home schedule on Nov. 17 versus Western Carolina. Tipoff versus the Catamounts is set for 1 p.m. inside Kimmel Arena.
