Nearing More History
Ahmad Thomas is already just the sixth player in Big South Conference men's basketball history with over 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 200 steals. Thomas is nearing becoming just the second player in league history with over 1,000 points, 600 rebounds, 200 steals and 200 assists. Thomas ended the conference road opener at High Point with 1,301 points, 598 rebounds, 216 steals and 199 assists.

Quotable
"I am definitely disappointed in the outcome of tonight's game. I didn't think we were aggressive enough, tough enough to win a game on the road versus a team like High Point. I thought they were just the aggressor around the basket and the aggressor defensively. We just didn't match that intensity and that effort and as a result they ran us out of offense a little bit, they were more aggressive around the basket, particularly on offensive rebounds, and if you let those types of things happen that much you are going to get beat." – Head Coach Nick McDevitt
