Bulldogs Fall to Liberty and Marshall In Away Tri-Meet

LYNCHBURG, V.A. - In the first meet of the new year, the UNC Asheville swimming team fell to Liberty 210-84 and slipped 222-72 to Marshall on Saturday inside the Liberty Natatorium.Â

Meet Highlights
Despite have two month off due to winter break, the Bulldogs fought hard and had some great performances on Saturday.
Sophomore Skylar Rogan seized first place points against Liberty in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:32.00. In the 200 Butterfly, sophomore Catherine Allen earned first place points against Marshall with a time of 2:05.81.
Sophomore Adee Weller also had an un-suited (not in a fast suit) season-best time in the 200 freestyle clocking in at a 1:54.26, and sophomore Madison Rogan had a great 100 butterfly today by logging a lifetime best with a time of 58.08.Â
Senior Elizabeth Murray also had a season best un-suited in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.49.

Up Next
Following several personal victories in Lynchburg, Va., the Bulldogs will travel to Brenau (Ga.) to battle the Golden Tigers in the Brenau University Swimming Pool on Jan. 20 at noon.
