Friday Baseball Game at Richmond Postponed, Bulldogs Will Play Doubleheader Saturday

RICHMOND, Va. – Today's UNC Asheville baseball game at Richmond, which was originally scheduled to be played at 3 p.m., has been postponed due to constant rain expected in the area the area all day.
The Bulldogs and Spiders will now play a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1. UNC Asheville and Richmond will close out the series with a single game at 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 2.
The Bulldogs (11-13) are in the midst of a stretch of seven straight non-conference games. They went 1-1 in their midweek games at UNCG and at McCormick Field against Western Carolina. The Bulldogs defeated the Catamounts 5-3 and held their annual Vs. Cancer Game.
