FARMVILLE, Va. – Behind a career-best 30 points from freshman guard MaCio Teague the UNC Asheville men's basketball team picked up their seventh straight win in a 91-69 road win over Longwood at Willett Hall.

The opening few minutes of the contest saw UNC Asheville (20-7, 12-2 Big South Conference) connect on five of their first 10 shots to own an 11-8 lead after a layup by senior forward Will Weeks off an assist from Teague with 14:27 to play in half No. 1.

Over the next few minutes, Teague would absolutely catch fire, hitting six three-pointers over a stretch that saw the Bulldogs go on a 20-4 run to own a 31-12 lead with 8:15 left in the first half.

The Bulldogs would take a 49-35 lead into the halftime break with Teague ending the opening half with 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting. He was 6-of-8 from beyond the arc in the first half.
