UNC Asheville to Host Bulldog Basketball & Alumni Weekend Feb. 2-3, 2018

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – It's a weekend Bulldogs everywhere definitely do not want to miss.
The 2018 Bulldog Basketball & Alumni Weekend will be held Feb. 2-3, 2018, on the campus of UNC Asheville.
The weekend will open with Bulldogs fans given the chance to see UNC Asheville greats on the hardwood once again with the Alumni Legacy Games on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.
The Alumni Legacy Games featuring both legends from the UNC Asheville men's and women's basketball programs are completely FREE and open to the public.
In addition, The Hop Ice Cream Café owned and operated by UNC Asheville alumni Greg and Ashley Garrison will be selling their delicious ice cream at the games.

The first game of the men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 3, will take place inside Kimmel Arena starting at 2 p.m. with the women's basketball team playing host to Big South Conference rival Winthrop.
After the conclusion of the women's game there will also be a special Alumni Zone in the atrium of the main concourse of the Sherrill Center. To gain access, all alumni must purchase an alumni ticket.
Starting at 4:30 p.m., the UNC Asheville men's basketball team will then battle Presbyterian College. During halftime, UNC Asheville will honor the 10th, 15th and 20th anniversary teams of the men's Big South championship teams of 1998, 2003 and 2008.
The fun weekend of all things Bulldog will conclude from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Twisted Laurel in downtown Asheville with a "Bulldog Bash."
