Fitzgerald Featured in Big South Conference’s MUSCO Spotlight

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference released its MUSCO Spotlight on Thursday where the league office sat down with senior center Bronaza Fitzgerald to talk about her experience of playing college basketball at UNC Asheville.
The Danville, Va. native discusses how she got her two nicknames – "Big Bucket Bree" and "Big Shot Bree". She talks about her volunteer work off the court including teaching mathematics at Asheville Middle school, and she also chats about her future aspirations of becoming a teacher or playing professional basketball.
Fitzgerald is the second Bulldog to be featured on the MUSCO Spotlight this year from the Big South as Caroline Houser was the first UNC Asheville student-athlete to be featured earlier this year.
