ASHEVILLE, N.C. – With excitement and anticipation inside Kimmel Arena, the UNC Asheville women's basketball team hosted its third annual fantasy basketball camp as it was yet again a big success.
Bulldog fans were able to live out their dream of being an NCAA Division I basketball player on Monday as they were able to receive hands-on coaching from women's basketball head coach Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick, her coaching staff and players.
Campers participated in fundamental stations, scouting, agility drills and a variety of games designed for campers of all ages.
"This was an awesome night and an amazing experience for everyone," said coach Mock. "This was the third annual fantasy camp, so we had a lot of repeat campers. However, we got some new people from the community as well as professors from the school. It was overall a great experience as usual."
