Dear Bulldog Fans and Friends,
Ben Franklin stated, "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."Â Your investments in the Bulldogs are paying off in big ways!
As a member of the Big South Conference, our men's and women's basketball teams are experiencing opportunities that once seemed impossible. We are steadfast in continuing the momentum created by our student-athletes and coaches, but we cannot do this alone.
This level of success requires that UNC Asheville commit additional resources to meet all of the Big South Conference Basketball Strategic Plan initiatives such as providing scholarships that include summer school and cost of attendance, increasing attendance and enhancing the fan experience, adding a full-time director of basketball operations, and increasing operating budgets.
Winning Championships consistently requires additional funding to accommodate rising travel expenses and staff requirements that are simply not in the budget. We continue to annually operate by the slimmest of margins.
You directly impact our success, both the incredible highs we are feeling now and the ones to come in the future. We are so grateful for all you do to make each victory a reality. I am writing to thank you in advance for your increased support to keep up with these efforts and victories. In the days and weeks ahead we will continue to share with you the needs of our Athletics Department and the ways that you can help. We are all proud to be Bulldogs and know that sustaining this level of success will take all of us.

There is nothing accidental about our achievements – they are a direct result of those of you who have been long-term supporters and those who have recently found your way to being a Bulldog fan and friend.
