2022 BAA Golf Classic wrapped up on Tuesday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The 2022 Bulldog Athletic Association (BAA) Scholarship Golf Classic wrapped up on Tuesday from the Country Club of Asheville.
"We are so very grateful for all of our Bulldog friends and sponsors who participated in the Bulldog Athletics Association Scholarship Golf Classic this week," stated Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone. "The funds from this event helps grow our athletic scholarship fund and provides necessary resources for our Bulldogs. A special thank you to our tournament committee, the Country Club of Asheville as well as our volunteers who helped put on this event. Everyone involved showed that they are All in for Asheville!"
Just like on the first day, the foursomes were split into two flights. In the first flight, the gross champions were the team of Amys, Sandoval, Ripmaster, and Kassinger (-13). First place net went to the team of Ballad Jr., Ballad Sr., Chilton, Dickerson (-18). Second place net was won by the team of Bales, Goforth, Howard, and Pope (-17).Â
In flight two, the gross champions were the team of Carpenter, Fier, Harwood, and Murphy (-9). First place net was won by the team of Garret, Lauce, Livingston, and Yoder (-18). Second place net was won by Bailey, Bryson, Crowe, and Davis (-18). All tiebreakers were broken by the USGA rules.
Closest to the pin prizes were awarded to the following: #3 – Tim Crowe, #6 – Payne Kassinger, #13 – Pete Ripmaster, and #17 John Kimberly. The straightest drive of the day came from Woody Jones.
