ASHEVILLE, N.C— The Bulldogs finished their second home game of the season with a loss to Georgia State University (3-2) on a goal from Georgia State's Frank Rosenwald in the 99th minute. Asheville looks to bounce back in their first conference game this Saturday, September 24 at Greenwood Field.
The first goal of the night was scored by Asheville's Zach Joens at the 7:17 mark with assists from Brendan O'Dowd and Andrew Lawerence.
In the second half, Georgia State responded with a goal at 60:14 from Salomon Lorenzano with an assist from Liam Fitzsimmons. The Bulldogs came back quickly with another goal from Zach Joens, with an assist from Allen Jackson.
Then another goal by Georgia State's Lukas Joyner tied the game at 2-2 in the 63rd minute. The tying goal sent the game into overtime, which ended with a goal by Georgia State's Frank Rosenwald in the final minute of play.

- The Bulldogs had a total of 26 shots, seven in the first half and 17 during the second.
- Zach Joens scored both of Asheville's goals.
