QUOTABLES

"Hard fought match tonight there are moments in sports where you have to find a way to win. I thought we did that tonight. I liked our energy from the opening whistle. We talked about having cleaner passes and better final third play at halftime. Second half was much better with regard to us being goal dangerous. They earned a day off tomorrow to rest and manage their bodies before the final home stretch of non-conference games. I'm proud of the way we battled through adversity. The last few games we have revealed more of our competitive identity throughout the games and that is only going to help us down the line in season.” – Head coach Michelle Demko
