ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville welcomes Iona to town for a three-game set beginning Friday afternoon as the Bulldogs look to get back on track after a pair of midweek road losses. Iona picked up its first victory of the season Sunday at North Carolina A&T before falling in their home opener to St. John's on Tuesday afternoon.

Next Man Up: Asheville has had 11 different players start a game to date this season, with all having at least five starts through 12 games. Three Bulldogs – Joe Tietjen, Lucas Owens and Pete Guy – have started and played in all 12 contests, while freshmen Danny Wilson and Carmine Pagano have started and appeared in 11 games.

The Right Guy: Pete Guy sits in the middle of several national individual hitting categories, including being sixth in the country with his six home runs, two shy of the national leader. Guy is also No. 51 in the country in total on-base percentage (.544).
