Tianna Knuckles Named Big South Women's Basketball Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Tianna Knuckles, a senior guard from Wendell, N.C., of the UNC Asheville women's basketball team was named the Big South Conference Player of the Week, announced earlier today by the league office.
Knuckles set a career high 25 points, in 25 minutes played, in the victory over UNC Greensboro this past week, going 8-11 from the field and 5-8 from behind the arc. She also grabbed two rebounds and was 4-5 from the free throw line. Knuckles also helped the Bulldogs defeat Western Carolina on Friday. She compiled 7 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and one block.
Knuckles and the Bulldogs will be back in action this Friday, November 25 when they play host to Tennessee Tech at 3:00 p.m. in Kimmel arena.
