Bulldogs' Volleyball Close Out Season With 3-1 Loss to High Point in BSC Quarterfinals

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's volleyball team lost to High Point, 3-1, last night in the Big South Conference Volleyball Championships.

After winning their slot in the championships as #6-seed the Bulldogs played a close game for the first two sets. They lost 25-19 to High Point in the first set, and then 23-25 in the second set. Making a rally back the Bulldogs on the third set, 25-18.

The game ended with Bulldogs losing 21-25, the game going to High Point.
The victory moves the Purple & White into the Big South Championship semifinals where they will take on host and No. 2 seed Liberty at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
