HIGH POINT, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's soccer team defeated the Panthers of High Point University 1-0 at Vert Stadium in High Point N.C. on Saturday night.
Asheville scored the game winner in the 64' when Paige Trent capitalized on a penalty kick for her 5th goal of the season.
Despite 19 shots from the Panthers, the Bulldogs would hold on for a 1-0 victory.
