QUOTABLES
“When you go play a team with a great history, such as North Carolina, and great quality this year, you can run the risk of a lopsided result. For us to become a premier program, we have to play premier programs. North Carolina gave us their best effort today and they are as advertised. I told the team I thought they were the best team in the country and they played like it tonight. Full credit to our guys, I thought we played the game the right way and approached it the right way as well. Unfortunately, we came up on the short side of the result. However, it was a great opportunity for our guys and we are looking forward to hopping back into Big South Conference play this weekend.” - Head Coach Mathes Mennell
