NOTABLES
Head to Head- In the past four seasons, Asheville is 3-4 in the series with Presbyterian. This includes the Bulldogs' win over the Blue Hose earlier this season in Clinton, S.C. A win for Asheville on Tuesday would be the first time Coach Kirkpatrick and her staff have swept the Blue Hose in the regular season.
Down to the Wire-Three of Asheville's last four conference games have been decided by 10 points or less. Asheville has come out on top in two of those three contests, beating Charleston Southern on the road earlier this season (58-50), and High Point on Saturday (82-81). The Bulldogs dropped a close game at home last week against Gardner-Webb (56-58).
Splash Sisters- After nine games played this season, Asheville has two Bulldogs that rank among the top 10 in the Big South Conference in points per game. Tianna Knuckles ranks sixth with 13.7 points per game, and Chatori Major is in ninth overall, averaging 13.0 points.
QUOTEABLES FROM HEAD COACH BRENDA KIRKPATRICK
On Presbyterian- "Presbyterian is playing well and is one of the best teams in the league overall. Coach Fisher has done an exceptional job as usual with his roster in maximizing the talent that he has and getting better throughout the season. We are looking forward to another exciting league match-up in Kimmel Arena and I hope we have great fan support because it will take a lot of energy and execution to pull off a win."
