ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville volleyball team grabbed their fourth straight win Saturday afternoon, and their third in as many days, in their first of two matches in the 2015 UNC Asheville Invitational.

THE TURNING POINT

Asheville jumped ahead early, notching 18 kills and just one error in the opening set to gain momentum. The Bulldogs finished with 46 kills as a team and just 11 errors in the win.

NOTABLES

-Chrissy Lakatos finished with a double-double, notching 13 kills and 13 digs.

-Two Bulldogs finished with double-digit assists in the win – Katie Davis (23) and Amanda Powers (19).

-Madison Vaughn finished with three services aces in the victory.

-Three of Asheville's four wins this season have been won in four sets.

-Asheville is now 3-1 all-time against Alabama A&M.

-The Bulldogs have now won four consecutive matches – the last time they accomplished that was during the 2011 season.
