Baseball Ready for New Season, Opening Game Friday Afternoon

Bulldogs-Tar Heels Rained Out Wednesday Night

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The UNC Asheville baseball team's game at North Carolina scheduled for Wednesday night in Chapel Hill has been canceled due to the threat of heavy rain in tonight's forecast. 

 

 

The Bulldogs (16-21, 3-9 Big South Conference) now turn their attention to their weekend Big South Conference series at Winthrop (24-14, 4-8 BSC).

 

 

Winthrop is coming off of a Tuesday night road victory at UNC Charlotte, but lost two of three at Radford in conference play last weekend. 

 

 

Asheville is coming off of a conference series sweep at Presbyterian College last weekend.
