Asheville has won four of its last five games and improved to 14-14 on the season. The Bulldogs are unbeaten in mid-week games this year at 7-0. Asheville held off the Golden Eagles (10-16) last Tuesday, 7-5.

Freshman left-hander Jordan Fullbright is scheduled to be on the mound for the Bulldogs. Fullbright is 4-0 on the year with a 3.33 ERA. He's the first Asheville pitcher to start a season at 4-0 since Alan DeRatt started 6-0 in 2008.

Asheville leads the series 11-6 against Tennessee Tech.  Joe Zayatz leads the Bulldog attack with a .349 average. Joe Tietjen is next with a .337 average. Senior first baseman Hunter Bryant tops Asheville in homers (5) and RBIs (18).

The Bulldogs' 14 wins give them one more than they had all of last season when they finished with a 13-40 record.

Asheville stays on the road this weekend for a non-conference series at UNC Wilmington (April 3-5). The Bulldogs next game at Greenwood Field occurs next week on April 8 vs. Wofford.
