Men's Tennis Home Twice this Weekend/Senior Day set for Sunday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's tennis team will finish up the home portion of its regular-season schedule this weekend with two Big South Conference matches. Both matches will be held at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown and admission is free.
Tom Hand's club will host Liberty today at 2 p.m. and will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday when the Bulldogs take on Coastal Carolina at 1 p.m. Asheville will honor seniors' Will Goldberg and John Schubel prior to Sunday's match against the Chanticleers.
Asheville is 9-4 on the season and 1-2 in the Big South Conference. The Bulldogs are coming off a tough 4-3 home loss to Radford on Wednesday afternoon.
Bulldog fans will still be able to see Asheville play at home this year. The Big South Conference Men's and Women's Tournament will be held at the ARC in April. The women's tourney will be from April 15-18 with the men's tournament on April 18-21.
Alex Croker leads Asheville in singles with a 9-2 record. The doubles team of Brett Landau and Croker is 8-4 on the year.
The Bulldogs will be challenged this weekend by both clubs. Liberty is 10-6 overall and unbeaten in league play at 3-0. Coastal Carolina has a 7-5 overall record and 2-1 mark in BSC action.
