ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville baseball team starts a nine-game road trip tonight when the Bulldogs travel to Wofford for a 5 p.m. date with the Terriers.

Tonight's game was originally supposed to start at 6 p.m. but has been moved back an hour due to possible rain in the Spartanburg area.

Asheville (11-13) bounced back from a three-game sweep this weekend against Big South-leader Coastal Carolina with a 7-5 triumph over Tennessee Tech on Tuesday. The win against the Golden Eagles raised Asheville's mid-week mark to 6-0 on the season. Freshman left-hander Jordan Fullbright moved to 4-0 on the season with five scoreless innings. Fullbright is the first Bulldog pitcher to start 4-0 since Alan DeRatt accomplished that feat in the 2008 season.

This will be the second meeting of the year between Wofford and Asheville. The Terriers slipped past the Dogs, 2-1 back on Feb. 22 in Spartanburg.

Wofford is 20-6 on the season and enters Wednesday's game with wins in eight of its last nine games. The Terriers are coached by former Bulldog player and assistant coach Todd Interdonato.

Joe Zayatz leads Asheville at the plate with a .350 average, followed by catcher Lucas Owens with a .338 mark. Nick Schavone notched his fifth save of the season for the Blue & White on Tuesday with a perfect ninth inning of relief.

The Bulldogs stay on the road this weekend when they travel to Big South foe Gardner-Webb (March 27-29).
