THE RUNDOWN

Score: Asheville 3 – Radford 0

Teams: Asheville (15-11, 8-6 BSC)

             Radford (13-14, 6-8 BSC)

Location: Justice Center, Asheville, N.C.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville volleyball team might have gotten a glimpse of its first round opponent in next week's Big South Championships on Saturday, and the Bulldogs had to like their performance, taking down Radford 3-0 inside the Justice Center to close out the 2015 regular season.

Depending on the outcome of Saturday afternoon's Liberty-Gardner-Webb match, the Bulldogs could be the tournament's No. 3 or No. 4 seed. As the third seed, Asheville would face Radford for a third time this season (AVL 2-0).  A Liberty win would make the Bulldogs the fourth seed and would create a Asheville-Winthrop first round matchup.

THE TURNING POINT

The Bulldogs jumped out early and scored the afternoon's first six points to set the tone for the match. Asheville went on to win the opening set 25-15 and then closed the afternoon with another dominate set, taking set three 25-16
