ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's basketball team tips off its 2015-16 season at East Tennessee State Friday, Nov. 13. As an opportunity to “Meet the Bulldogs,” one student-athlete will be highlighted each day leading up to the start of the season. Today's featured Bulldog women's basketball player is freshman Kelli Fisher.
A 6-3 center, Fisher attended East Rowan HS (Salisbury, N.C.) and scored over 1,000 points in her high school career. She was a four-time South Piedmont All-Conference Team selection and was selected to participate in the North Carolina East-West All-Star Game this past year.
UNCABulldogs.com recently sat down with Fisher.
