BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's basketball team concludes its three-game road swing on Saturday afternoon when they meet up with the Campbell Camels for a 1:00 p.m. contest at Gore Arena.

Saturday's game will be video-streamed live and can be seen for free on the Big South Network.  Additionally, the game will be broadcast live on WPEK Radio (880-AM) and can be heard on iHeartRadio via the free mobile app.

Asheville (3-11, 2-3 BSC) won its first two league games of the season and since has dropped three-consecutive conference game and will look to get back on track against the Camels (8-6, 3-2 BSC).

Both teams enter the contest following defeats. The Bulldogs lost on the road at Winthrop, 75-55 on Thursday evening, while Campbell had a three-game win streak snapped against High Point, 79-59 on Monday night.

“We are looking forward to the opportunity to get back on the court and face a talented Campbell team," stated head coach Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick.  "Campbell is a well coached team and we will have to show good discipline against a team that is balanced inside and out.  We know that in this league you are going to have tough games day in and day out. Tomorrow is no exception."

Senior guard Shonese Jones (10.3) and sophomore guard Tianna Knuckles (10.2) lead the Blue & White in scoring.  Senior forward Jeannie Buckner continues to lead the club in rebounding with a 5.9 average and is aided by sophomore KJ Weaver's 5.7 rebounds per contest.  Weaver has posted a team-high nine blocks this season, while senior Brittany Gwyn leads Asheville in assists (37) and steals (19).

Saturday's matchup with Campbell is the final game of the teams three-game road swing.  The Bulldogs will be looking to improve on their 1-7 record in roads contests this season.  Following Saturday's game, Asheville will return home to host High Point on Tuesday evening.

Campbell won both meetings a season ago and six-straight in the series since rejoining the Big South Conference.  Asheville's last victory against the Camels came on November 11, 2010 in a tight, 78-75 contest at Gore arena in what was a non-conference game at the time.
