ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's basketball looks to put back-to-back conference wins together when they face the Radford Highlanders at Kimmel Arena in a 7:00 p.m. contest on Tuesday Evening.

Tuesday's game will be video-streamed live and can be seen for free on the Big South Network.

Asheville (4-13, 3-5 BSC) is coming off a 64-55 road win at Gardner-Webb last Saturday.  The Bulldogs played its best defensive game of the season in the win, holding GWU to just 25.4 percent shooting for the game.  Radford (8-9, 4-5 BSC) is coming off of a 65-62 overtime loss at Campbell on January 17.

"Every night is a challenge in the Big South and tomorrow is no different," said head coach Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick.  "We will be facing a Radford team that is well coached and playing great basketball. We are looking forward to being at home again in front of our fans and an opportunity to play team basketball and to play for each other."

The Bulldogs placed 13 players in the scoring column against Gardner-Webb last time out.  Asheville outscored GWU 34-20 in points off the bench, a category where the Blue & White have excelled this season, outscoring their opponents in all but three games this season.  Sophomore Chatori Major scored 15 points off the bench in the win over the Runnin' Bulldogs, while Senior Shonese Jones added 16.  Jones continues to lead the Bulldogs in scoring with 10.8 per contest and has upped her average to 11.4 in league games.

Radford owns a decided 46-19 advantage over Asheville in the all-time series.  A season ago Asheville won the season series against the Highlanders, winning two-out-of-three, including a dramatic 43-42 victory in the Big South Championships, thanks to a Shonese Jones put-back at the buzzer.

Radford is led by senior guard Ayana Avery who leads the team with a 10.8 scoring average.  Janayla White (8.2) and Jordynn Gaymon (7.5) lead the Highlanders in rebounding.  For the season, RU is outrebounding their opponents by an average of 3.5 boards per contest.  Defensively, Radford is holding their opposition to 58.5 points per game.
