Hunter Bryant Selected for CPL Home Run Derby

FOREST CITY, N.C. – UNC Asheville first baseman Hunter Bryant has been selected to participate in the Coastal Plain League's All-Star Game Home Run Derby on Sunday, July 13.  The contest will take place at Morehead City's Big Rock Stadium.

 

The derby will consist of four hitters on each of the East and West CPL All-Star teams and have three rounds of competition.

 

Bryant will be on the West squad. He has enjoyed a great summer for the Forest City Owls as he leads the league in home runs with six and total bases with 63.

 

He will also be the starting first baseman for the West in the CPL All-Star game that will be played Monday night starting at 7:05 p.m.
