Men's Tennis Slips by Nicholls State 4-3 in Thriller

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's tennis team won three singles matches in three sets to slip past Nicholls State, 4-3 in collegiate action Friday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club.
The Bulldogs (4-6) won the doubles point and then won three hard-fought singles matches to record the victory against the Colonels (5-4).
Asheville picked up singles victories from Daniel Kripak at #1 singles, Brett Landau at #4 singles and Josh Swindler at #6 singles.
The Bulldogs won two doubles matches at #1 and #2 flights.
Asheville opens Big South Conference play against Longwood on Saturday at 1 p.m.
