Baseball Game at WCU on Wednesday Postponed

Opening Baseball Series with Delaware State Cancelled

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville baseball team's opening series of the season at Greenwood Field against Delaware State has been cancelled due to the winter weather that hit the Asheville area this week. The teams were scheduled to play a double-header on Saturday and one game on Sunday.

 

The Bulldogs will try to open the season on Wednesday when they travel to UNC Greensboro to take on the Spartans starting at 3 p.m.

 

Asheville's home opener will now be on Friday, Feb. 28th when the Bulldogs welcome Eastern Kentucky for a three-game series. The game on Feb. 28th will start at 3 p.m.
