The Bulldogs kept the momentum going in the fourth set. Asheville jumped out to a 4-0 lead and led 9-5 behind kills from Erickson and Fisher.

Winthrop countered and went on a 10-2 run to race to a 15-11 lead. The Blue & White wouldn't go down easily as the Bulldogs responded with five straight points and a 7-1 run to lead 18-16 on two kills from Vaughn.

But Asheville had two straight attack errors which triggered a 9-2 run to end the match and give the Eagles the victory.
