Dillon Tabar Named to Big South All-Academic Team

LYNCHBURG, Va. – UNC Asheville senior right-hander pitcher Dillon Tabar was named to the Big South All-Academic team on Monday night as the league announced its award winners for the 2013 season.
Tabar made the 12-person squad as he maintained a 3.61 GPA. He graduated on May 11 with a degree in Health & Wellness Promotion.
On the field, Tabar went 2-4 with a 4.54 ERA. He earned one save on the year. Dillon had 29 strikeouts in 41 innings of work. Both his wins came against Temple in relief in March.
