Track and Field Begins Competition at ETSU

Hibert Finished 2nd in Hammer Throw on Sunday

Kurt Hibert finished in second place in the hammer throw at the Aggie Last Chance Meet on Sunday at North Carolina A&T.

 

Hibert took second with a throw of 55.31 meters. He also competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday and finished fifth with a toss of 55.95 meters.

 

Emma Bussard also ran on Friday at Georgia Tech in the 3000 meter steeplechase. She finished third in the event at a time of 10:54.

 

Both were trying to improve their times and throws to earn a spot at the NCAA East Regional at North Carolina A&T later in the month.
