Men's Tennis Falls to Coastal Carolina 5-2

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Coastal Carolina won five singles matches after losing the doubles point to rally past UNC Asheville 5-2 in Big South Conference men's tennis action Friday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club.
The Bulldogs (7-6, 1-2 BSC) won a hard-fought doubles point 2-1. Asheville earned the point at #3 doubles as Brett Landau and Alex Croker won in a tie-breaker, 9-8.
But the home team could not keep the momentum in singles. Adrien Langeard won at #1 singles for the long Asheville win in singles as he defeated Leo Christofides, 6-3, 6-2.
The Bulldogs are back in action Saturday afternoon when they host defending BSC champion Radford starting at 1 p.m.
