Schumer Tosses Six Hitless Innings in San Jose Debut

MODESTO, Calif. - Former UNC Asheville pitcher Justin Schumer made his High A debut a successful one on Sunday afternoon when his San Jose Giants defeated the Modesto Bees, 8-0.

Schumer, working on a pitch count, pitched six scoreless and hitless innings to give San Jose the victory.
