Men's Tennis Downs Mars Hill 6-1

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's tennis picked up its first victory of the season with a dominating 6-1 victory over visiting Mars Hill at the ARC Downtown courts Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (1-2) claimed the doubles points by winning all three matches handily. Asheville lost only three games in doubles competition.
Asheville won five of the singles matches in two sets. Adrien Langeard won at #1 flight, 6-2, 6-3 over Enrico Patriarca. Jonas Brobeck, John Schubel, Ryan Matthews and Pete Conaty all recorded straight-set victories on the day.
The Bulldog are back in action on Sunday when they travel to UNC Greensboro for a non-conference match starting at 3 p.m.
