Men's Tennis Wins Fifth Straight

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's tennis team won their fifth straight match with a 7-0 victory over Lees-McRae Sunday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
The Bulldogs (6-3), coming off an emotional win on Saturday against Campbell, were in complete control against the Bobcats.
Asheville won all of its single matches in two sets. Jonas Brobeck went to 8-1 on the season with a victory over Skylar Warren, 7-6, 6-1 at #3 flight. Freshman Will Goldberg won at #6 over Hang Lak Choi, 6-4, 6-3.
The Bulldogs were able to win all three doubles matches. Ryan Matthews and Pete Conaty had a close match but they won 9-8 at #3.
Asheville plays again at home next Saturday when the Bulldogs host South Carolina State starting at Noon.
