RALEIGH, N.C. - #59 N.C. State won the doubes point and all singles matches to down visiting UNC Asheville 7-0 in the opening match of the 2012 men's collegiate tennis season.
Matt Waissen won the first set against Julian Sullivan, 6-2 but lost in a tie-breaker 7-6 (5) at #2 flight. The Bulldogs battled hard all day against the Wolfpack but could not come up with a win.
Asheville is off until Jan. 29 when the Bulldogs travel to Appalachian State
