Dull led UNC Asheville to a Big South series-opening win over Gardner-Webb last Friday that ended the Runnin' Bulldogs' nine-game win streak in the process.  He held the League's top-hitting team to just three hits in seven innings of work, and fanned nine while walking two in earning the victory.  Gardner-Webb managed a .130 batting average against Dull and did not score against the righthander.  Dull's line last week:  1-0, 0.00 ERA, 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R/ER, 2 BB, 9 SO, .130 opponents' batting average.

Zebedis batted .444 (8-18) in four games last week, helping the Blue Hose to a 3-1 record – including a 4-3 win over nationally-ranked Clemson.  He had two hits in each contest in addition to two doubles and one home run.  Zebedis opened his week with a 2-5 day and two doubles against Clemson.  His two-out, RBI-single in the second inning gave PC an early 1-0 lead over the Tigers.  On Friday against High Point, Zebedis knocked in two runs with his Big South-leading sixth home run of the season that sealed the Blue Hose's 4-1 series-opening win.  He then singled twice and scored a run on Saturday against the Panthers, and finished the series with a 2-4 effort on Sunday.  For the week, Zebedis slugged .722, had a .444 on-base percentage, scored three times and knocked in three runs.
