Riles Leads Nation in Rebounding

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville junior forward Kelli Riles stands alone when it comes to rebounding according to the latest NCAA statistics.
Riles, fresh off a 28-rebound performance, leads the nation in rebounding with a 13.7 mark. Behind her in second place is Jessica Kuster of Rice with a 13.1 mark.
Riles has had two games this year of 20 or more rebounds. She grabbed 24 in an opening day win over Winston-Salem State on Nov. 12. Riles then grabbed 28, a career-high and most by a Bulldog player in the Division I era, against USC Upstate last Wednesday (Nov. 30) night at Kimmel Arena.
Asheville plays again this Saturday afternoon when the Bulldogs host Appalachian State at Kimmel Arena starting at 4:30 p.m. The game with the Mountaineers is part of the Asheville Collegiate Basketball Invitational on Saturday as Wofford faces Radford at 2 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at 828-251-6904 or you can purchase at www.uncabulldogs.com.
