We started official practice October 4th! How exciting! It was my last first practice with many emotions. It has been a fast three years and I cannot believe my time here is almost over. I don't want to waste a minute of my last season at UNC Asheville. As many of you know, we just had Dunkin' in the Doghouse on Friday and it was a lot of fun! The atmosphere in the Kimmel Arena is amazing! It is going to be an awesome place to play in and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to play in it. We hope all of you who were there on Friday will continue to come out and support us throughout the season.
As a team we are going to focus on three key parts to the game. We're going to commit to the defensive end, take care of the basketball, and communicate with one another. It is going to take every single person to be committed for us to be successful. Each of our players brings a different aspect to our team and that is something great to have, whether they are a playmaker, a rebounder, a defensive stopper or a shooter. We need them all. We are having a lot of fun this year and getting better each day.
