Men''s Tennis Competes at Wofford Fall Invitational

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The UNC Asheville men's tennis team competed at the Wofford Fall Invitational this weekend.

The Bulldog netters were at the weekend tourney with Appalachian State, Gardner-Webb and Wofford. There were eight singles flights and four double flights. Each flight featured round-robin matches.

In singles action, Adrien Langeard (#1), Thomas Rees (#4) and Alex Appelt (#8) all won one match during the action.

On the doubles side, Asheville posted two victories. The #2 doubles team of Jonas Brobeck and Matt Waissen went 1-1 in their flight. In the #3 doubles flight, Pete Conaty and Alex Appelt went 1-1.

The Bulldogs compete again this weekend at the Fall Regionals in Chapel Hill.
