ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville baseball team's game with Gardner-Webb scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday at McCormick Field has been postponed due to thunderstorms in the Asheville area. The teams will play a double-header on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the games being moved to UNC Asheville's Greenwood Field. Both games will be audio-streamed and can be heard at www.uncabulldogs.com.

Prior to Saturday's first game, UNC Asheville will honor its four seniors playing their last home games. They are Matt Dalby, Austin Graham, Justin Schumer and Dan Weller.

Tomorrow's double-header will determine the #7 and #8 seed in next week's Big South Conference Tournament. Both the Bulldogs and Runnin' Bulldogs are tied for seventh in league standings with a 9-16 BSC mark. Asheville needs one win tomorrow to get the seventh seed, while Gardner-Webb needs a sweep to get the seventh spot.

Tom Smith's Bulldogs defeated Gardner-Webb on Thursday at McCormick Field, 3-0. Ryan Dull pitched a complete game shutout and allowed just seven hits. Cody Buch had two hits and drove in all three runs.
