Men's Tennis Has Two Honored by Big South

RADFORD, VA. - UNC Asheville senior men's tennis player Nicola Nonnenbroich was named to the Big South's All-Conference team in a vote by the league's coaches Wednesday night. The announement of the all-conference team came at the league's awards banquet on the eve of the conference tournament.
Nonnenbroich has done a solid job for the Bulldogs this year in singles play. He has rapidly improved throughout the year and been Asheville's #1 singles player for most of the season. Nonnenbroich is 8-8 in singles player this year.
Junior Nathan White was named to the league's all-academic team. White has a 3.3 GPA and is majoring in Biology. He has been a consistent player for the Bulldogs in both singles and doubles this year.
Asheville opens play in the Big South Conference Tournament on Thursday afternoon against Coastal Carolina at 4 p.m.
