#44 N.C. State Men's Tennis Holds off UNC Asheville, 6-1

RALEIGH, N.C. - #44 N.C. State won three close doubles matches to earn a point and then picked up five singles victores to hold off UNC Asheville, 6-1 in men's collegiate tennis action Sunday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (3-6) earned a point from freshman Ryan Matthews who won at #6 singles as he defeated Akash Gujarati 6-4, 1-6, (13-11).
Asheville plays again this Saturday at home when the Bulldogs host North Georgia at 11 a.m.
