Men's Tennis Falls to Campbell, 6-1

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's tennis team lost a close doubles point and three matches in three sets as Campbell downed the Bulldogs, 6-1 Friday afternoon at the Crowne Plaza Tennis Center.
Matt Waissen won for the Bulldogs in singles at #2 flight. He defeated Larbi Lanzouri 7-6 6-1. Nicolia Nonnenbroich, Jonas Brobeck and Thomas Rees all lost in three sets.
Asheville fell to 3-8 on the season, while the Campbell improved to 11-3. It was the Camels ninth straight win.
The Bulldogs return to action this Sunday afternoon when they host Big South Conference foe Presbyterian College at the Crowne Plaza Tennis Center at 1 p.m. Fans who come to the match on Sunday will get free food from Arby's and be eligible for door prizes.
