Indoor Track and Fields Snowed Out at Liberty

LYNCHBURG, VA. - The UNC Asheville men's and women's track and field teams were scheduled to participate in the Liberty Invitational on Saturday but the winter storm that hit the Southeast on Friday did not let that happen.

Both Bulldog teams managed to get to Lynchburg on Friday but the snowstorm did not allow the team to leave the hotel and get to the meet due to the weather. The team was scheduled to come home Saturday night but had to stay in Lynchburg until Sunday afternoon before arriving home late in the afternoon.

Both teams will have this weekend off before heading to Chapel Hill for the UNC Invitational on Feb. 12 in Chapel Hill.
